Jomsom flights leave early because the valley wind rises by late morning. We keep a spare day in every Muktinath itinerary, and a road route is always available.
Day by day
Arrive in Kathmandu
Airport pickup and check in. Evening aarati at Pashupatinath, then rest.
Pashupatinath and Kathmandu
Early morning darshan before the crowds. Guheshwari, Boudhanath and Budhanilkantha in the afternoon. Drive or fly to Pokhara.
Pokhara to Jomsom to Muktinath
Morning flight through the gorge to Jomsom, then jeep to Muktinath. Darshan, the 108 dharas and the Jwala Mai flame. Overnight at Ranipauwa.
Return to Pokhara
Back to Jomsom for the morning flight. Afternoon free at Phewa Lake and the Tal Barahi temple.
Kathmandu and departure
Return to Kathmandu, time for shopping in Thamel, then airport drop.
